There are many reasons why farm businesses across the UK have chosen to become Footprint research farmers.
Many have been driven by interest – to find out their own footprint, to benchmark themselves again others, and to learn about options to help reduce their footprint and understand whether changes they have already made are making a difference.
Some are driven by wanting to improve the current process through providing their reflections and input on data collection and tools.
Assessing both emissions and removals were also important to many.
